Miami, FL - Chuao Chocolatier has opened their first chocolate boutique in the popular Miracle Mile area of Coral Gables, Florida to kick-off their national expansion plans.
The Miami-Dade county location is the company’s first venture outside of Southern CA where they have four Chuao Chocolatier Cafes in San Diego County and one in Orange County, with more local and national locations under consideration.
“After five successful years in greater San Diego, we’ve decided to expand our vision into other markets,” states CEO Richard Antonorsi. “To some, a boutique in Miami may seem like an unconventional decision, but given that we combine chocolate with unusual ingredients like goat cheese, cayenne pepper, or even balsamic vinegar, it is in keeping with our unexpected and delicious experience commitment,” he explains. “My brother and I have never been very good at convention and that has been a key part of our continued success.”
The Coral Gables boutique will carry the company’s complete signature line as well as their everyday line of chocolate confections that includes bonbons, truffles, bars and hot chocolates. The store will also feature the ChocoPod, a new concept in chocolate where bonbon meets bar in a less then sixty calorie, single serve confection. All the chocolates are handcrafted at the company’s culinary facility in Carlsbad, California.
“I’m thrilled to be managing the company’s first Florida location,” said Philip Vonk, the store director. “The Chuao Chocolatier experience is perfect for the area and introduces residents and visitors to a chocolate adventure that engages all the senses. It’s exciting to be a part of this revolutionary time in chocolate.”
The Coral Gables store is located at 70 Miracle Mile Coral Gables, FL. (305) 448-2235. For more information, visit www.chuaochocolatier.com or call (888) 635-1444.
