Merritt Island, FL - In a move serving up more product offerings and locations to boating enthusiasts considering fractional ownership, Merritt Island, Fla.-based SharedYachts (www.SharedYachts.com) recently announced a three-year agreement with sales and brokerage firm, Black Pearl Yacht Sales (www.BlackPearlYachtSales.com), as well as two new Florida locations.
The deal between the two Florida-based companies will extend the low-maintenance and flexible benefits offered by SharedYachts’ fractional ownership to Black Pearl Yacht Sales’ new product lines, including watercrafts from Renzo, Hunt, Post and Santa Cruz. It also contributed to SharedYachts’ recent expansion to Naples and Marco Island, which are located in Southwest Florida–one of the country’s most popular areas for boating enthusiasts.

West Palm Beach, FL — With today’s skyrocketing fuel prices, fuel economy is more important than ever for sport fishermen. In response to this need, Ocean Master Sportfishing Boats has launched the Ocean Skiff 27 Center Console with super fuel efficient diesel power. The standard configuration features a diesel engine mated to I/O drive to provide amazing fuel economy and long range.
Recent testing of an Ocean Skiff 27 outfitted for a European search and rescue agency yielded 9.7 mpg in real world use. This is a tremendous increase in efficiency over traditional outboard powered center consoles which often get just 1-2 mpg or less. The Craigcat Hybrid is powered by both gas and electric, and is available in two models: the CraigCat Hybrid and the CraigCat E2 Hybrid. Both models feature an easily removable portable gas generator, which can be used for camping, fishing and hunting. Additionally, both models are equipped with deluxe seats for comfortable side-by-side seating, convertible bimini top for shade protection, and a powerful 55-pound thrust electric outboard motor for zero water pollution. The hybrid models are easy to operate and great fun in either fresh or salt water.
The E2 Hybrid has twin 55-watt halogen docking lights, two NAV lights, anchor light and a fishing rod holder for four rods and a cooler. Both boats are super-stable and unsinkable.
